A SIM year equals one real month. (There are twelve SIM years in each real life year.)
Violators of these rules will be warned twice, then suspended or banned. Please follow all rules! |
2. Horses
Both mares and stallions must be at least four years of age to breed.
Both mares and stallions must be at least four years of age to compete.
Animals competing must be healthy and can not be pregnant in the case of mares.
Foals are born eleven real days after the date of breeding, and age at the same rate as all other horses.
You start with up to three horses. One or two to start is recommended.
Vet checks are required every real month. (The number of days does not make a difference.)
Farrier visits are required every real month. (Again, days do not matter.)
Mares may only breed once every SIM year, and can not compete in a SIM year which they are bred in. Brood mares should not be competing at all after their brood mare years have started.
Horses retire at 30. They do not age any further, and are put in the Retirement Paddock (they don't "die". Horses with fatal illnesses, etc. are "retired" and put out with the oldies.). |
3. Member Information
You may start a stable after you have gained 50 points. Points are gained through showing and activeness.
Inactivity for over two SIM years without notification will get you deleted. Your horses will be sold at auction and your tack will be returned.
Jobs will also gain you points. Some jobs require a certain amount of points already earned, some do not. Individual stables can decide to hire people as whatever they need, common jobs are listed on the Jobs page along with main Game jobs.
You may own associations after you have gained 40 points (The first five members may start associations immediately to speed the game's progression up.), and you may own up to five associations. Each must pass through me to be posted on the page, and you must keep them up or they will be given to a more active member.
You start with $500,000 (believe it or not)
When you take lessons, from any CERTIFIED barn, you will gain levels. The levels are Begginner, Intermediate, Advanced, Expert, and Finished. Finished riders have been through all of the courses in their discipline, and they have it down to an art. It is also recommended that Finished riders take the time to repeat the course twice or three times.
To get yourself certified as an instructor, you must A) have been one of the first five members B) Have 200 showing points.
Ten lessons always take at least 1/4 of a SIM year. |
